How much does it cost to work with you?
Nothing. Medicare carriers pay us a flat commission when you enroll, regardless of which plan you choose. We do not charge clients a separate fee, and the commission does not change your premium. You pay the same whether you enroll on your own or work with us.
What is the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medigap?
Medicare Advantage (Part C) bundles your Medicare coverage into a single plan from a private carrier, usually with extras like dental and vision but with provider networks. Medigap (Medicare Supplement) keeps you on Original Medicare and pays your out-of-pocket costs, with no networks but a separate Part D drug plan. The right choice depends on your doctors, prescriptions, travel habits, and budget. We walk you through both.
When can I sign up for Medicare?
Your Initial Enrollment Period starts 3 months before the month you turn 65 and lasts 7 months total. If you miss it, you may face permanent late penalties on Part B and Part D. We will tell you exactly when to enroll based on your birthday and your current coverage.
I already have a plan. Can you review it?
Yes. Every fall during the Annual Election Period (October 15 to December 7), plans change premiums, formularies, and networks. We do free annual reviews to make sure your plan still fits. If a better option exists, we will show you. If your current plan is still the best, we will tell you that too.
Are you tied to one insurance company?
No. We are independent and represent multiple carriers, including Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, BCBS Texas, Mutual of Omaha, Cigna, and Wellcare. We recommend the plan that fits your needs, not the one that pays us most.
Do you meet in person or by phone?
Both. We meet clients at our office in the Allen / Plano area, at your home, or by phone or video. Whatever you are comfortable with. CMS rules require us to record certain Medicare conversations, and we will always tell you ahead of time when that applies.
